WSBAK youth ministry skill development meet

The youth ministry department of Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu (WSBAK) organized a skill development meet at WSBAK Centre Akuvuto, Thahekhu village under a skill development initiative on March 7.

A press release from WSBAK youth ministry media cell stated that some prominent governmental and non-governmental agencies were invited to motivate and counsel the youth and also to provide opportunities for trainings and placements in various sectors. 

Employees of Canaan Yutech (a skill development project of WSBAK) shared their experiences and motivated the youth to develop their skills. Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi, executive secretary, WSBAK exhorted the participants of the meet. Dr. Khekugha Muru, convenor of Skill Development, WSBAK shared the concept of the motivational meet.

Kakheli Inato Jimo, women secretary, WSBAK, invoked God’s blessings; N. Suhuto Chishi, acting youth secretary and V. Marlyn Holo, coordinator skill development were the program moderators. Around 300 youths, mostly drop outs, from 52 different Churches under WSBAK, participated in the event. 

Dimapur based training providers like AIDAA, Eccentric Solution Pvt. Ltd, Emporium, Keren Sumi finishing School, Nagaland Tool Room Training Centre (NTTC), Orient Edutech, Pinnacle Skills, YouthNet and Don Bosco Tech highlighted their projects and upcoming training programs.
