Reproductive Child Health camp in Mokokchung

A one-day Reproductive Child Health (RCH) camp was organized for Sabangya Primary Health Center (PHC) on April 13, in collaboration with Rotary Club and Red Cross Society of Mokokchung.

The DPMU Chief Medical office, in a press release stated that a total of 201 patients were treated and medicines were given free of cost. Facilities available in the camp were gynaecology, general practitioner, paediatrics, ultra-sound and laboratory services.

Pregnant mothers were given Ante Natal Care (ANC) to reduce the risk of still-births and pregnancy complications and to make their pregnancy experience a positive one.

 In a short meeting with the staff, VHC chairman, council chairman etc., Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Chubala Aier appreciated the doctors and staff for their services rendered during the camp and thanked the village committee for their continual support. Short speeches were delivered by the deputy CMO, Dr. Kibangkumba, and participants.

The team of doctors comprised of Dr Chubala Aier, Dr. Kibangkumba, Dr. Ademla Tinu, Dr. Ayangla Saku, Dr. Limayanger, MMU, doctors and staff from different departments.
